NEVER RUN THE REMOTE SUPPORT UTILITY UNLESS SPECIFICALLY DIRECTED TO DO SO BY COMPUCON
1. CLICK HERE to start your download.
2. Download and SAVE the Remote Support file to your computer. Try to determine where the file is being saved. On most newer computers you have a Downloads folder The File name will be AA_V3
3. Double Click the file you saved (AA_v3.exe) to start the Remote Session
Depending on the security settings and operating system you may receive an alert message concerning running the progrmam, Please select to run the program
4. When the program comes up, you will see a screen with an ID number,
The image below is an example, this is Not your number, yours will be different.
DO NOT click Connect
When the Technician asks , give this ID number no spaces.
When the technician connects to your computer you will be prompted to accept the connection, This is for your security. Please click Accept to allow the technician to connect.
If you have Windows 8, you will need to save the file, and the technician will direct you how to configure it to run in Windows 8
